2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

If y’all will slow me to toot my own horn for a second… I feel like my gauge on where a prospect’s range or team they might end up is really good just based off of reading some old 2023 draft posts of mine (besides Bilal).

I do think it's highly unlikely Reed drops out of the top 5.

I think Dilingham is the most likely to drop that would surprise some people. Buzelis would be the other.

I think Salaun is probably going to end up being a top 10 lock. His ceiling might end up being 5 to Detroit. Portland and San Antonio at 7/8 would be likely landing spots.

I think Edey is a lottery pick.

Portland already has a point guard..

My first mock draft has been published. I would love it if you guys took a look and let me know what you think!

I think this is best case scenario for the Jazz unless we can also trade other assets to get into position to draft Devin Carter.

My quibble would be why would Detroit draft another player who cannot shoot other than they are basketball dumb?

Also the Sheppard to Houston feels not quite right. I don’t know what is right. Maybe someone else will trade up to 3.

We've tried to slow you on that, but you are unstoppable!

Castle may be trying to avoid Detroit and Charlotte. If he can play PG, then he becomes more interesting, but the tape I saw made him look slow, limited in his ability to get to the rim, and limited in shooting off the dribble. Also, making demands to play a certain position might rub some teams the wrong way.

Demands? “They are more like guidelines.”

People think Buzelis is a shooter who had a bad year
