I'm fine with Cody Williams. Won't be my highest available prospect, but he fills a need and has as much potential as anyone in the draft at 10.
I said it does impact how much they make. LolYou said his wingspan won't impact how much money he makes his rookie contract. That makes no sense because the only thing that impacts your money is where you are drafted
And yet Bane fell because he had short arms regardless. People often overthink this stuff.Desmond Bane is also a shooter, not a guy who relies on attacking the basket. Outliers exist, but they are outliers.

If you can get a starting caliber 2 way center out of this draft, you probably grab that and run though, right? It sounds as though the Jazz are looking at everybody and considering every possibility. I could believe the Jazz are trying to trade up, but I think their target would be Sheppard or one of their favorite wings, rather than Clingan. Just my opinion, but I think Clingan is, for all intents and purposes, the Jakob Poeltl of this draft. Maybe he's better in some respects, but he's basically a starting-caliber two-way big and not a whole lot more.
It was mentioned quite heavily at the time.Bane was a 22 y.o. senior at the time he was drafted. I don't think the wingspan was that big a factor.
If Dillingham is available at 10 I'd bet the Jazz grab him. Not sure they would be keeping him for the next hour, but grabbing him there would make sense. Here's Bleacher Report's latest mock ---
He has the Jazz taking Dillingham ahead of both Topic and Williams. Also shows the Jazz taking Dadiet at 29. Some of Wasserman's comps aren't bad, imo.
