Honestly I'm all for getting a later seed in the 8-10 range if it means we are more likely to draft Sheppard.

Well yeah, of course his ceiling is higher than Simone.
He's 6'9 with a legitimate handle. He just has to really fill out a lot and get his shot better. He's definitely below Risacher though at this point. Maybe a less talented player, but his baseline skills are much higher and translatable. Look at what Paolo and Franz are doing in Orlando. I dont think Buzelis will ever have that level of physicality, but they are the blueprint for these 6'9+ jumbo wings with handle who can get downhill and shoot a bit.

Big Board Before Entering Conference Play: Only have 6 college freshman in my top 30. Honestly have little interest in many freshman this year. Feels like every time I do a check in on the Freshman it's only getting worse for them, and we arent even in the hard part of schedules yet. Going to be an extremely interesting draft to parse out which upperclassmen are actually NBA material.

Risacher is kind of firmly my #2 at this point. He's just too big and too good at shooting to not have him high.
The more and more I watch Sarr, the less I'm convinced he's a top talent. Still incredibly interesting, and I dont really see anyone clearly overtaking him for 3 unless Cody Williams really shows some **** in conference play.

Some reasonable takes on Cody Williams. I think he's going to look better with NBA spacing, and I really like his ability to react and improvise based on what defenders give him. Also, just because he plays under control doesn't mean he's slow. Some of his HS film shows more athletic bursts (example below). Williams has physical tools that are comparable to a Cam Reddish, but he then adds IQ, timing, passing and a variety of play finishes.

I'd like to see what Risacher can do as a creator in pick-and-roll. His lack of wiggle is really frustrating, but with the help of a screen and possibly taking the right angle, he might be able to make some plays. He's got some handle and timing on his passes. He's also decent at driving the ball.
