2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Zach Edey is averaging 23 points, 11 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in 29 minutes per game for #2 ranked purdue

His last two games:
33 points and 14 rebounds and a block.
30 points and 20 rebounds and 3 blocks
If you could trade Kessler for him straight up would you do it?

Yet GM's see him and think, "That's a 2nd round pick". Or maybe even undrafted. That's how it goes. And I can't say they're necessarily wrong. Guys like Edey are just so unbelievably dominant physically in the bad college game, against 6'8 "centers".

They can't guard anyone in the league. Edey too will look excruciatingly slow against NBA bigs.

Edey's issue (other than the obvious foot speed) is he isnt a passer. If you can be an offensive hub teams feel better about featuring a dominant center and designing a defense that makes them playable.

This dude is someone to keep an eye on. Will be interesting to see if he comes out or goes back to school.

A weak class will push him towards coming out, but is a guy who could really benefit from staying in college to continue to craft his lead guard skills vs coming out of the NBA where he will be more type casted as a scorer/shooter.

Daron Holmes is a sneaky name this year for the Jazz. Could possibly be a late first/early 2nd rounder. Big who does a bit of everything.
