I'm going to make a point to watch more Marquette games. Does anyone here have an opinion on Oso? From what I've seen he's a big with some actual handles. The 3 pt shot isn't there but there are no perfect prospects in this draft.

I still like Proctor but he holds on to the ball a little too long. That's something that Hardy can probably drill out of him though.

Knecht is going to be 23 in a few months. He may be too old to be a part of Contender Jazz sometime in the next decade.

Better come up with a Top 10 at the point. I think Topic, Williams, Risacher, Sarr and Holland are still probably the top 5. I'm not buying in on Castle like some people have.

They need a triple-threat wing who can create an advantage. Same as always. Otherwise it's going to be more Sexton kamikaze offense.

I want more shooting and athleticism in a top-10 guy. I'll catch up on him though.

Castle definitely showed that potential in high school and we are starting to see it for UConn. In the end though this is a solid role player draft so you shouldn't expect some elite triple threat wing because that is not likely to happen. With Hardy at the helm though Sexton is definitely not going to be a long term focal point. I don't think there is a shot in hell that he is starting over Keyonte next year and it may happen by the end of this year.

I'm aware of that but I don't trust Danny's drafting. His recent track record isn't great.

Personally, I think the Jazz were always going to head this direction at the trade deadline. I think the talk about making the playoffs was PR to generate some excitement and fan engagement. Being a 9th seed and playing one or two post-season games isn't worth foregoing value on expiring players and giving up a top-10 pick, even if this is an iffy draft.
