2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Rob Dillingham is really intriguing.
in a stronger draft, he's well outside the top 10 imo, simply due to his lack of size and he hasn't shown a lot of playmaking chops (though, i like his playmaking and how it will project at the next level) like say trae young who would be a nice comp in terms of a small scoring guard. in this draft though, i think he has a shot at top 5. probably goes before Sheppard. dillingham would immediately be one of the top 5 quickest/fastest guys in the league.

He's shown a ton of playmaking. 29% assist rate on a low turnover rate.

I mean, I think Dillingham is a top 10 prospect in basically every draft, it just falls on the individual teams appetite for an undersized guard who is a bad defender.

Yeah I bet he slips a bit further than he maybe should. He’d certainly be a tough fit for us.

tough fit for most teams which is why he's not a top 10 guy in 80% of drafts. even as good as trae young is, which is about dillingham's ceiling, it's just really hard to win in today's league with a diminutive guard playing big minutes.

But teams are doing it.....

It's hard to be good as a diminutive guard, but if youre good youre good.

Hopefully Key has a good close to the season. Worried we pass on some guys because of his presence and end up regretting it. I like Key but want him to leave no doubt these last 20 games.

Knecht is averaging 25-6-2 in SEC play on 54/44 splits.

His season stats would be much higher, but at one point sprained his ankle during non-conference play and had 4 single digit scoring games in blowout wins.

He will be the first rookie that is also the oldest player on his team.

JK... I actually really like him.

Drafting upperclassmen or older players has had a pretty strong run last several years.

Old guys...

Jaquez
TJD
Nembhard
Keegan Murray
Desmond Bane
Brandon Clarke
Cam Johnson

Chris Duarte - cant all be hits.

I'm in for Knecht.
