Yeah I'm done... just send the pick in. Its a highlight tape so I'm expecting some loud plays but still find myself going "dayummm". Some of the hang on the pivot stuff looks a like Brunson. I don't care that he's 30... just take him. It will be fun.
 
Last year I came up with my chant Taylor/Brice/GG as the three players I wanted. This year my chant is Carter/Yongxi/Chomche...Hey the last two names rhyme! Those are the players I want and I would be okay if Ainge does his trickery to get more assets. Just land on those low cost options with upside and the best combine rated guard in Carter and I will be happy.

Anyway, June 16th the international players can withdraw from the draft and I think Chomche might...but if I was Ainge I would give Chomche a conditional promise. If we have a pick near the 40's we will select you and we would give you 3 year contract with the 2nd year a player option (no way he is good enough his second year) and a team option his third year. He gets money and feels safe to stay in the draft and we get an economical contract for a player who can be good in a couple of years.

I would also try to trade Clarkson, Sexton, Collins for assets as they help us win too much right now. I want next season to be a tanking season and these players can get you wins out of the blue.

I want protections reduced on the Lakers pick (even if they keep the 1st spot, any reduction helps. All the way removed if we give them something good), get our pick back unencumbered from OKC, I also want the Phoenix pick (the owner seems like he would do it) if we give them a win now piece, any Laker picks, enhance the value of any of the Minny picks by switching them for a future pick from other teams and lastly just load up on future 2nd rounders (quantity like crazy, keeps costs down on all future minor transactions).

I'm pretty much on the same "tank with Lauri" -train, but I'm also 95% sure we aint gonna get what we want. All signs point towards "improve the roster" -path.
 
I like this video on Yongxi with a trainer. It is super long but you get a sense of what kind of player he can be. He implements quickly what he is shown. He has Mitchell like learning ability. He handle is really good and his touch is equally as good. The dude can be a scoring iso guard in the NBA plus he has good defensive skills on top of that already. He will be a player if an organization is behind him.

Look, maybe the Chinese dude is actually really good, but he only averaged 15 ppg in a joke of a league.

Yeah true dat. He did play well in the Aussie League too. It requires imagination and there is a big risk. But if it is a low cost option, then I roll the dice on him. Carter is my first pick and he looks like a sure thing.
