i said it earlier (maybe in another thread), he is the most likely all-star of this draft. the problem with dillingham is that 1) the fit on the jazz is horrendous and 2) long term, small guards just have an extremely hard to impacting winning. even if a guy like dillingham hits his ceiling he's probably just a guy who scores a **** ton of points on a .500 team. his ceiling is brad beal/a worse passing/playmaking trae young. as good as those guys have been in their careers they just haven't impacted winning. even donovan, who has been on some great regular season teams, always flames out in the playoffs. it's no fault of their own, but it's near impossible to be a short superstar in the league if you don't shoot like curry.For what it is worth, Leif Thuline said he thinks Dillingham would be the first player in this draft to average 20+ ppg.
but because of his explosive scoring ability, he would be damn fun to draft.
