Having talked with Tony and having him be generous enough to share “off the record” type ****… I can tell you that he is not a grifter. He shares maybe 10% of what he actually knows and has put us on to stuff days before it happens.

i'm only calling it like i see it. if he knows stuff, and he's only willing to share anything of value privately, perhaps he should get out of the public insider business - where he is a pretender - and stick to just being a reporter, which he is very good at.

Of all the possible explanations for the exchange you just shared, you choose to go with Tony Jones is making stuff up to look like he knows stuff?

It just makes you look butthurt because he blocked you on twitter.

I mean the guy gets paid to cover the sport he loves and he makes a fine living. So I’m not sure he sees it the same way. If he is guarded with info there is a reason. I can tell you he has nailed several things this offseason in detailed ways. He’s also like the coolest guy for real. So I’m going to go to bat for him.
