On one hand OKC has so many picks still that I doubt they care about the preserving a late first round pick, I'm sure they are much more interested in the small possibility of a lottery pick.

Which is why they will be quite cozy to wait and see what happens. If they don’t get a great pick, fine. It is about the potential for something higher. Right now I’d wager it’s still comfortably in the top-20.

With the Pelicans injury history I'm thinking ATL is feeling really, really good about that Queen trade right now. Could be a tank contender without trying.

fwiw, the Wizards get the best of their pick and the Suns pick and then the Wizards send the Grizzlies the lesser of those two picks (because the Suns made an incredibly stupid trade with the Magic where they traded the lesser of these two picks for three seconds and the Magic traded it for Bane).

Yeah, true, but it's looking even better now than it did in June. It wasn't a stretch to see both Bucks and Pelicans reaching the playoffs, after all.
