And yes, a 10 year vet who is 30 is likely going to be better than any UDFA who is not signed as of February.

How is a 10 year vet more pressed for a check than a UDFA?

What you said is completely bogus generally speaking, but you arent even placing the motivations correctly.
 
Been a good stretch lately. If 6 is worst case scenario then I’m okay with that. And there’s a 4.5 game cushion on 7th right now. Not out of the question we fall a couple more spots either.

Well, “1 game” is deceptive. It is two games in the win column.

These are teams with <.300 records and the “games” measurement is in practice premised on a 50% chance of winning/losing. So I would rate “1 game” as more like 3+ games in practice.

This is why every win is a ****ing dagger to my heart. When in a cluster, it is so hard to move in the standings, especially once you’re into February.

This is also why BOGO games are SO huge. In the “games” measurement it accounts for “1” but it means more than that since wins in these contexts can offer huge swings.

Agreed that the wins column is the important one, but trying to be positive and we have made a lot of progress this month.
