2025 All time Utah Jazz draft signup

I do get the idea but basketball’s all about match-ups.. it’s fun to imagine Malone vs Duncan, Payton vs Stockton… etc.. you don’t get that when putting all teams together.

I know what the idea is, but I don't think many voters really think about it enough to consider matchups. It used to be that most participants would do writeups to talk through matchups, but that rarely happens anymore. I think most people who participate in these things just like the draft, and to a lesser extent team building. There is very little discussion and thought on matchups and is why I don't really care to join. I did my first draft last year and didn't really enjoy it even though my team won.

If what most people enjoy is just the draft and building a team, then focus on that and just get the voting part over with while people still care a little. Just my two cents.

Also when we spend all that time crafting a team, to have it cut short by just 1 poll seems like a waste.

Honestly I wouldn’t care if we skipped the vote all together. I only have fun drafting and putting a team together. I mostly love the nostalgia factor you get doing an all time draft

I kind of agree, but I don't think that most people feel similarly.

The voting threads are most often 5 posts long (no discussion) and by the end of the voting there are often less votes than participants in the draft.

Yeah but that’s the idea of the poll thread, it’s just to get the votes so a winner can move in. I don't think people expect there to be a lot of discussion.

I like the idea of having the first big poll determine the finals matchup and mabye when the actual all time draft happens that’s often a lot bigger it determines the semi finals either the top 4

Yeah but not 1 poll to determine the winner right?

So every team in the poll for first round. For the jazz draft next round is title round. In all time draft we do the first round same as the Jazz draft then the top four teams advance then have a third round as the title round to find a winner.

Well you never made the draft order process transparent.. or let someone who’s not participating do it like @fishonjazz or @SoberasHotRod whom were more than happy to do it.

It’s like you wanted to be judge-jury-executioner all in 1… “for some reason”.
Yes, that he has always been. Breaking his own rules. It's taken a while but most people are starting to wise up.
