2025 Free Agency Thread

Kinda disappointed we are not in the 7-team trade for Durant, would have been a very Danny Ainge Jazz thing to be involved somehow

Honestly I expected a bigger free agency / trade season for a lot of teams. It has been a bit lethargic across the board.

Plenty of time left i guess.

Jazz may only sign one free agent this year Seem like they signed a lot of college kids for summer league

Last year they signed Eubanks (traded him), Mills (traded him), Myhailiuk and Juzang to non-guaranteed contracts and then rolled with who they had.

Still wouldn’t be surprised to see them add a guy on discount and maybe bring Procida over as well. Probably not until they deal with Collins - so, later in the process.

Locke basically said that the Lakers were fighting over 2 versus 3 picks before the 22/23 season in a Conley+Bojan+others for Westbrook trade. We ended up with one pick....but we lost so much more along the way.
Where did he say this?

Don't how sustainable last season's 3 point shooting was, maybe Austin is the opposite of his dad's love for small scoring guards

Take some balls to stiff him on his contract. The kid is the opposite of Ben Simmons, level headed, dedicated on working to improve his game. (His old man was a gym rat whos only elite talent was work ethic.) His last season at OKC was definitely impacted by the allegations with that underage girl. But hey its the Bulls, they've sucked for years for a reason.

Do we have an easy way to offer Giddey some money? Decent player, has been improving, still very young.

Obviously Chicago could match, but I don't see anyone else I'd want to take a shot on.
