Every participant from the draft must make six votes if one participant or more doesn’t make six votes. Their team is eliminated from the competition.

The top six vote getters will move onto the second round

If there are any tie’s we will go by the amount of votes from the other contestants in this draft if there are still any ties, we will do a three hour vote with whoever needs settling

Edit. The vote only allows 10 voter options so it will be broken up into two polls. Make three votes in each voter thread

All team write ups will be in both threads

Team 11
—————————-
PG: Isiah Thomas // Nate Archibald
SG: Joe Johnson // Joe Dumars
SF: Jayson Tatum // Robert Horry // Cooper Flagg
PF: Chris Webber // Pascal Siakam
C: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar // Artis Gilmore

This fantasy NBA team would be an absolute powerhouse, poised for extreme dominance in any all-time matchup due to its unparalleled blend of elite playmaking, lethal shooting, suffocating defense, and unyielding interior control. Starting with the backcourt, Isiah Thomas at point guard is a maestro of orchestration, averaging 9.3 assists per game in his prime while dropping 19.2 points with razor-sharp efficiency—his ability to dissect defenses and create open looks for teammates would make every possession a scoring opportunity. Backed by Nate "Tiny" Archibald, who brings explosive scoring (18.8 PPG) and additional playmaking (7.4 APG), the guard rotation ensures relentless tempo control and seamless transitions that keep opponents perpetually off-balance.

The shooting guard spot features Joe Johnson, a smooth operator with 37.1% three-point accuracy and 16.0 PPG, capable of isolating and draining contested shots from anywhere. With Joe Dumars providing lockdown perimeter defense (15.2 PPG, multiple All-Defensive honors) and Kyle Korver as a sniper extraordinaire (42.9% from deep), this group turns the perimeter into a fortress of fire, stretching defenses thin and punishing any lapse with barrage after barrage of long-range precision.

At small forward, Jayson Tatum emerges as a modern marvel, averaging 23.0 PPG with 40.3% three-point shooting in recent seasons—his scoring versatility, combined with elite wing defense, makes him a matchup nightmare who can create his own shot or exploit mismatches effortlessly. Robert Horry, the ultimate clutch performer with seven championships and 34.1% from deep, adds championship pedigree and switchable defense, while Cooper Flagg's projected two-way prowess injects youthful energy and defensive tenacity that amplifies the group's adaptability.

Power forward Chris Webber dominates with his high-post wizardry (20.7 PPG, 9.8 RPG, 4.2 APG), blending scoring, rebounding, and passing to fuel a multifaceted attack. Pascal Siakam as backup elevates this further with his dynamic two-way play (21.7 PPG, 34.6% 3P, 7.8 RPG), offering seamless integration into any lineup for added speed and scoring punch.

Anchoring it all at center is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the skyhook legend with 24.6 PPG, 11.2 RPG, and 2.6 blocks per game—his scoring efficiency and rim protection would render opposing offenses obsolete. Artis Gilmore, with his combined ABA/NBA averages of 18.8 PPG, 11.6 RPG, and 2.3 BPG, steps in as a seamless backup, maintaining an unbreakable wall in the paint that dominates rebounds and second-chance points.

Collectively, this roster's synergy creates an unstoppable force: elite facilitators feeding sharpshooters, versatile wings switching everything, and twin-tower bigs controlling the glass and interior. The depth ensures no drop-off, with championship experience from Horry, Dumars, and Kareem providing the intangibles for clutch dominance. In a fantasy league of legends, this team wouldn't just compete—it would redefine supremacy, outscoring, outdefending, and outlasting any foe with effortless superiority.

Final Roster

PG: Kyrie Irving / Damian Lillard / Deron Williams

Write Up

So this team is built around one of the best center that’s ever played the game, Hakeem Olajuwon. Playing off of him will be one of the best power forwards in Dirk Nowitzki, and one of the best point guards Kyrie, who are both deadly 3 point shooters. Slashers in Butler and Banchero rounded out the well balanced starting 5.

Bench consists of HOFers in Sabonis and Gervin, and future HOFers in Lillard, Aldridge, Middleton, and KAT. All bench players are out of this world offensive power house in their own right and will provide plenty of fire power off the bench.

Overall this team has a great blend of power and finesse, slashing and 3 point shooting, youth and experience, with great closers in Kyrie, Dirk, and Butler. I personally would love to see this team in real life, … hopefully AI can make it happen 1 day.

Here you go:

Starters

My team's rotation (roughly)

  • Chris Paul (PG) - 32 min
  • Kawhi Leonard (SG) - 34 min
  • Larry Bird (SF) - 36 min
  • Chris Bosh (PF) - 30 min
  • Brook Lopez (C) - 28 min
Bench

  • Jrue Holiday (PG/SG) - 28 min
  • Ray Allen (SG) - 22 min
  • DeMar DeRozan (SF/SG) - 20 min
  • Kevin McHale (PF/C) - 20 min
  • Marc Gasol (C) - 20 min
Rotation Flow

  • First Quarter: Starters ~7 min → Bench unit (Jrue, Allen, DeRozan, McHale, Gasol) closes
  • Second Quarter: Bird and Kawhi stagger with bench to keep offense alive
  • Second Half: Same pattern, with Bird, Kawhi, CP3 closing most games alongside the hot-hand bigs

Team 5
————
Point Guard
Haliburton / Billups / Iverson

30 minutes go to Haliburton and 18 minutes go to Billups, Iverson can play spot minutes at PG as needed.

Shooting Guard
Havlicek / Iverson / Houston

Iverson and Havlicek split minutes fairly equally (around 21-22 each), while Houston gets 3 minutes each half to add a different shooting look.

Small Forward
LeBron / Hill / Kirilenko / Battier

King James gets 32 minutes and Hill plays the remainder. Kirilenko can fill in when needed, and Battier is generally meant to stay on the bench.

Power Forward
JJJ / Kirilenko / Horford

JJJ gets 22 minutes at PF (and 8 more at C) while Kirilenko gets 22 as well. Remaining 4 minutes go to Horford.
Center
Robinson / Horford / JJJ
Robinson gets 30 minutes a night, Horford gets 10 (along with the 4 at PF) and JJJ gets 8.

Overall

This is a team that has only a couple negative defenders (Tyrese and AI are decent at help defense though), and only a couple players (Hill and Robinson) with no outside shooting. There are always at least two strong ballhandlers on the court with Iverson, Grant Hill, and of course LeBron helping the point guards out. This team is built for dribble penetration and has enough shooters to punish the help D.

Team 4
———
C - Joel Embiid - 34min // Dwight Howard - 22min // Chet Holmgren - 2min
Pf - Dominique Wilkins - 28 // Amar'e Stoudemire - 16 min // Chet Holmgren - 4min
Sf - Reggie Miller - 30 min // Vince Carter - 15min // Dale Ellis - 3min
Sg - Dwayne Wade - 34min // Michael Cooper - 12 min //Dale Ellis - 2min
Pg - Magic Johnson - 40min // Jalen Brunson - 8min

My team was built with power explosion and pure athleticism

Offense
—————
Dominique Wilkins Vince, Carter, Amari, Stoudemire, Dwyane Wade, and Embiid and Dwight Howard are some of the most explosive and powerful players we’ve had in the NBA with the 6 foot nine Magic Johnson as the point guard this team is built to run and gun, but can also play in the half court with magic as the point guard setting the offense and beat At Center that can score from just about anywhere on the court and Reggie Miller, running his man to death and hitting wide open threes.

Defense

———————

This team is also very good defensively in most cases Dwyane Wade will guard the other team‘s point guard while magic and Reggie Miller will mix and match, depending on matchups on who they guard, but taught to bottom this team is a very good defensive team

Really not a big fan of this "which is the best team" format. It's not how it's done in real life. We're constructing a team to go up against another and voters are supposed to imagine how a certain player would play against one another. I'd much prefer the older Team A VS Team B format.

This is more like "what's the best team on paper" type question. It's just too confusing to vote on IMO.

Also in years past the rosters are supposed to be formatted the exact same way so there are no confusion. How can you just put in "Thompson" in the lineup so people get confused with "Klay"? That shouldn't happen.

I think the lower voter turnout is a result of what I've mentioned above. It just looks a mess and people are confused by it and just don't wanna bother.

@Thee Jazz Fan appreciate your effort but I'm sorry to say but you've really dropped the ball here man.

I didn’t catch the Thompson because that’s how it was sent to me and I just pasted it. Sorry for the mistakes. I do this on my phone. I had it all set up then as I’m putting the thirteen options in I find that it only allows 10 options so I had to do everything over avter I spent an hour putting it together. I don’t have a computer that works so I do everything by phone which is mentally draining. I don’t get paid to do this, and after I had to start all over I rushed it. It was particularly pull your hair out frustrating. Not getting on your case or complaining just telling low it all happened. I love doing this and I’d like to do a vintage draft after the current one if there’s time.

Also been thinking about not doing the cap draft because I want @Saint Cy of JFC to be involved in this. IMO it’s better with him in it. But if you guys are dead set on doing a salary cap draft we will still do that. Let me know your feelings on that.

As far as this vote format goes I’ll probably not do it again as I’m not happy with voter turnout but I will use it for the all time jazz draft next year. It seemed to work well for that.

Again sorry for the mistakes in the vote. Also where the efff is @Elizah Huge

@Domino @YoungJefe @The Fresh Prince @Elizah Huge @Coach Ellis @David Hume
@The Midnight @Strutter @toddychurch
@Hornacekamania @silesian @Miggs

Anyone else keen to host the Current Draft instead of Thee?

I don't think he's up to it anymore...

He's not even reformatting the lineups, we have roster with minutes and others without.. it's a real mess.

These should ideally be done from a computer not a phone..

I put in the rosters as people wanted them. Some put minutes others didn’t. WRH do you want from me?

If you want to do the voting part of the draft be my guest but if not shut it.

You need to put what we all give you in the same formatting so it's less confusing and we don't run into issues with the Klay Thompson thing.

Also whether we're doing minutes allocation or not, either we're all doing it or noone's doing it.

Make it all consistent & easy for voting.

Otherwise noone's gonna bother.

You realize you’re the only one that complains about this every year.

If someone sends me minutes they obviously want that to show so I’m putting it in.

Would you like to run the vote for the current draft. I promise you no one runs a more efficient draft than me in keeping picks and trades up to date. And doing the vote is a crap ton of work when you do it all from your phone.

If you want to run the vote be my guest. If not don’t complain
