I mean, if they want to win now with Victor, why wouldn't they? What would the Jazz have to include to make it a deal?
I could see some fringe stuff being exchanged, but it's a fair deal. Wemby/Lauri is a match made in heaven and the Spurs were rumored to be targeting Lauri in UFA if he didn't extend with Utah

A Spurs trade is interesting because the Spurs are in a weird spot. They just traded for a win now guy in Fox and just drafted Castle. Where does Dylan Harper fit into this picture? I think the Spurs will be tempted to trade #2 for a win now guy and the Jazz are perfectly aligned, having Lauri, to take advantage. Unless they are willing to splurge for Giannis, I don't know what win now move would be better and more affordable for the Spurs than trading for Lauri. Its a good trade to start of the trade thread.

It's not even close to a fair deal, Lauri played like a $15m a year guy last year and got paid $40m. Harper has Cade Cunningham potential. The Spurs are going to trade Harper and Castle for Giannis.
The Jazz are obviously trading Sexton and Collins, but I think they have to wait to trade Lauri as they need to restore his value. He was not very good last year and the most optimistic reading of his season is that he doesn't care about winning and is willing to throw games for money.
Sexton to the Magic for a 2nd and Cole Anthony is probably going to happen I guess.

A Giannis trade is going to be insanely pricey. How many first round picks and young players would it take? Harper + Castle wouldn't be enough. If the Spurs want to be more frugal with its assets, I don't think they would go all in for Giannis.
And I wouldn't downgrade Sexton to Anthony for a 2nd. Ainge managed to magic up 5 2nd rounders this trade deadline with Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills. It would be a waste to trade Sexton for a 2nd.

John Collins for Dejounte Murray and a top 10 protected first is something that looks good on paper. Dejounte is probably finished and Collins is a sneaky good fit with the Pels.
Teams know Lauri has been held back.
