Feels very calculated for Windy to throw out the Utah Jazz trying to turn it up (trade for someone) when discussing the Memphis Grizzlies trading Desmond Bane.

Maybe if all these teams are so desperate to get Kessler and Markkanen, this is an indication that maybe we ought to hang onto them. Ultimately, we'll need good players to return to competition. At some point, we're going to have to quit accumulating draft assets and actually try to win. I realize that it's exciting to get all hopeful about snagging the next great thing in the draft and that the current roster of veterans just doesn't offer the same kind of dopamine buzz. But, a team completely denuded of good veterans or solid role players isn't going to win anytime soon. Just how long do people here want to keep losing?

Kind of shocked Anthony Black or Jett Howard arent in the deal.
