Why is Porter shooting down the stretch? A forced left handed joker shot blind folded has a better chance of going in than a wide open Porter shot

Tough for Denver as they have many inconsistent players outside of Joker, Murray and Gordon. Westbrick, Porter being the superstar in this range.

Death, taxes, Donovan-led teams getting smacked in the conference semi’s.

Wonder if he punks out and asks for a trade this offseason or if he waits one more.
He’s gonna look scared and weak if he asks out.

I think he asks them to trade for better players.

Actually after everyone went to the Locke room and the crowd was gone, Don came out and sat court-side in the empty stadium by himself.

Could this be him saying goodbye to Cleveland?

Interesting…

Also, the Pacsrs.
Yep. They’ve drafted well, signed key free agents, made a couple of key trades, churned the roster and made a couple of coaching changes to get to this point.

Originally, they turned PG13 into Sabonis and picks, then they turned Sabonis into Tyrese Haliburton and picks.

They traded for Pascal Siakam using Bruce Brown’s contract (signed as a free agent mercenary for two years), parts and pieces, two middling 2024 picks and a conditional 2026 pick - at the trade deadline when he was expiring. Then they extended him long-term after they got him.

They signed Malcolm Brogdon as a free agent, and then traded him in the deal that got them Nesmith and a 2023 pick back (which was flipped for a 2024 pick and then later used in the trade for Siakam.)

They also draft exceptionally well - adding key guys in both the lottery and late:

They drafted Myles Turner (#10, 2017) AND kept him around - even during a period of time where it looked like he would certainly be traded. They also drafted Benedict Mathurin (#6, 2022) and Andrew Nembhard (#31, 2022). They also have drafted Jarace Walker (#08, 2023) and Ben Sheppard (#26, 2023).

They signed T. J. McConnell as a cheap free agent in 2019, and have extended him twice since then (about $10 million per year), and they added Obi Toppin for a couple of 2nd round picks and extended him as well.
