When I run this next year it will be much better with better rules so we have more modern players to choose from.
I'm not sure this is an every year type of draft, but yeah, I really wanted to pick Svi who's at like 750 minutes right now.

Good idea, and like @SoberasHotRod said, this probably won't be a fun Jazz only exercise to run every yearThoughts on running this for an all-NBA Crap Team? Change the minimum minutes played maybe.
I don’t hate the minimum minutes played rule overall, but I could see adding an exception so you could take one player for each team that is under the 1,000 minutes rule - no minimum for that one guy on each team. Opens up a wide range of possible teams.Thoughts on running this for an all-NBA Crap Team? Change the minimum minutes played maybe.
Svi makes the cut next year. Gonna have to fight me for him. . .I'm not sure this is an every year type of draft, but yeah, I really wanted to pick Svi who's at like 750 minutes right now.

I haven't read the entire thread, but surely someone's mentioned Milt Palacio. You know, the journeyman worse than replacement player Jerry Sloan stubbornly started and played ahead of Deron Williams during Deron's rookie year. Sloan had some "old school" rationale for it, I'm sure, which just goes to show that old school doesn't necessarily mean good school.
