2025 Utah Jazz All-Time Bad Draft

With their 2nd pick, the Mellochills draft Diante Garrett, point guard from Iowa State, who surprisingly met the 1,000-minute requirement in 2013/14. Garrett played just two seasons total in the NBA, both with the Jazz, and averaged 3.2 ppg and 1.7 apg on 37/35/68 shooting splits. He was Trey Burke's backup.

Jamaal Tinsley

111 games through 3 seasons

37.2% from field
27.9% from three

When I think of the Ty Corbin tank era he’s immediately the first player to come to mind.
I loved Tinsley. He was actually still good at making the offense run, just couldn't defend at all.

I considered him but Rudd is surprisingly less talented than this guy.

Mel Turpin Dinner Bell Mel The Mealman Burpin’ Turpin. 5.9 ppg. Story I read on line: When traded to the Jazz his weight was listed at 290, and when he reported to the Jazz they weighed him and the scales read 325. “What happened?” The Jazz asked. “I like Airplane food” was Mel’s reply.

The Mailman delivers, and the Mealman orders delivery.
