2026 NBA Trade Discussion Thread

I mean, if you could guarantee Ja can return to something close his peak days, that would make for an insane offense.

I think what Utah runs would jive with Ja.

I was trying to talk myself into Ja as a buy low.

If Ja is motivated to get back to he was, he would be a good fit offensively. Utah's offense is so nicely spaced and having his rim attacking ability would be really hard to guard.

I mean, Utah is kind of similiarish team to Ja's peak Grizzlies teams.

What would the offer be?

Are we forgetting that maybe more important than that Ja has been a ****ing idiot is that he just doesn’t have the ability to physically do what he used to do? And hasn’t been able to for years? And that he hasn’t improved the other aspects of his game either?

I’m *all* good. Pass.

You can’t say it never crossed your mind.

Pretty sure I can.

Look, I’m not trying to be surly or tough or ****** or whatever. He hasn’t improved the other parts of his game and he can’t do what he used to. And he’s owed a bajillion dollars. You make this trade and he stays on this trajectory and it could be a catastrophic mistake.

Well yeah I'm good, but it's fun to think about
