3/2/12: Utah Jazz vs Miami Heat

If you don't like this game you don't like NBA basketball®.

Seriously, what a damn game, though I'm a bit bummed they nearly let an 18 point lead slip away. Still, that shot by Harris was absolutely thrilling. Seeing Watson being the first to congratulate him off the bench was awesome to see as well.

yup, thanks for being voice if reason.

My money is on Alec Burks to emerge as the leader. I am convinced he has more confidence than the rest of the team combined. Not this year, but the dude is absolutely fearless.

Agree on the entertainment level. While some level of bummed, i think Miami is good enough to claw back without it being the Jazz fault completely (Lebron hit like 6 in a row or so.) But the fact that the Jazz battled hard there at the end was a change from the usual.

He's fearless .. but he's not a leader of a contender.

Agree. I think Burks and Kanter are options going forward to be leaders, Hayward and Favors not so much.

Burks as a leader of an NBA contending team??
Anyone who sees that is .. well .. deceived. I have to explain it? Really?
Let me know, I'm happy to if need be.

Yes. Explain.

The assumption wasn't that he's a leader today, simply that he had the disposition to be one. Many on the board think he has the skill set to be a very good player. Add that to this a fearlessness that he COULD be a leader.

Omnipotent God, I presume? :/

Hell naw. Original Gangsta, yo!

FWIW I think if Hayward ever develops consistency, hell be the leader of this team. He might not be the best stat stuffer in the future, but he has the potential to create like its no ones business, and he's got a good head on his shoulders.
