3 way trade for Gobert

Feel free to explain why or are you one of those online people that would rather call names instead of getting into an intelligent discussion?
What kind of intelligent conversation is there to have other than calling you dumb for thinking that is fair Return for Gobert, and this being a Celtics bias article, and you like it?

What else is there to say other than you’re dumb and an idiot.

Replacing Gobert with Turner and Warren would not make us tank. We might take a slight step back, but we would fight for the playoffs.

if we lose JC and blew the 23rd pick, we will fight for a spot in the playoffs regardless. you simply won't win many games with a bench featuring Niang, bradley and morgan

Of course.

I'm not saying that we add Turner and Warren and stop all other squad building. I'm not really a big fan of this deal.

I'm just really tired of people bashing on this team without Rudy. We take step back without him but people act like we are a high lottery team. I just don't see that.

It's not up to us really...

We are now very close to the point of having to choose between Rudy and DM. Either overpay to keep Rudy then have DM demand a trade in a couple of seasons. Or trade Rudy now for pieces that allow us to rework a new timeline around DM to compete for the next 7 or 8 years. We could've had both but after the Conley trade we are down to a point of no return. We no longer have any pieces to trade or compete. We gave away 5 picks for underwhelming PG rentals who we would just let go for nothing. We then sold our rotation players hood/AB/Crowder low and cheapily gave away 4 picks in JC and Korver deal, only to have both of them walk after playing just half of a season.

Now we are basically looking at an aging squad+a bench filled with scrubs+no more first or second round pick to add any more quality players. So trading Rudy might be the only realistic way for us to get out of this rabbit hole.

Not a big fan of the trade. Not sure why people are trying to trade away Gobert. I guess if he wants a Max but even then are you going to get back higher or equal value. This trade is a small step back and the Jazz need to move forward. Again, Boston gives up nothing considering Hayward is a bench player in Boston and is not as good as he use to be due the injury. Besides Boston has a ton of picks so they should allow us to keep ours and give two to Indy.

Exactly. We blew our shot. Conley was an awful call..

We now have some major issues in a horrific financial environment for the NBA. There is no reason to give near supermax to a limited center who is about to be 29.

Build around Donovan. Don't get suckered into overpaying Rudy.

With where the jazz are financially and with how close we are to possible contention while already having all of our eggs in the basket if gobert doesn’t sign for anything 30 or less giving the jazz options to build around the edges with I think it’s a no brained to reset slightly around Mitchell and trade him. I adjusted the three way trade shown above.

Jazz give: Gobert, Ingles, #23 pick
Jazz receive: Brown, Turner

Pacers give: Turner, Lamb, McDermott
Pacers receive: Hayward, Ingles, #14, #23

Celtics give: Brown, Hayward, #14
Celtics receive: Gobert, Lamb, McDermott

Pacers get two good wings to play with Warren while clearing space at the 5 plus a couple picks. The Celtics get Gobert for Brown with a couple good depth pieces for Hayward. Jazz get two young up and coming stars to play with Mitchell.
