I was reading an article and I saw this quote from Bobby Jindal, one of the republican canidates,

This apparent act of terrorism has taken the lives of four American heroes, and our hearts and prayers are with their families. While it's too early to know for sure what happened, it certainly looks like an act of terrorism.
'We must pursue justice on their behalf and stop at nothing to hunt down and kill these evildoers abroad before more of them come here to kill our people.

Do people really think it's possible just to kill all religious radicals who hate America or that it's a good idea to try?

He might be talking about how an Isis account tweeted about this about a minute before it occurred. Ya know, the terrorist group Isis? Ever heard of em? I think it might be a decent idea to combat Isis to the best of our abilities.

Without countries like America, Russia, England, Iran and Saudi Arabia pooring money, weapons, intel, training...into the forces of that area (Iraqi, Libiyan and Syrian armies, Kurdish Peshmerga, Syrian rebels...) then this group would completely take over and continue to strengthen themselves, expand and draw supporters. It would only be a matter of time before they started direct attacks against Americans. Looks like we might be at the point anyways.

But no Cy, it is not possible to kill them all. Killing them only creates more. But better there than in places like Dallas, Boston and Chattanoga.

War isn't the answer.

War isn't the answer.

In a situation like this there is no single answer. Does military intervention have its place in this scenario? I absolutely think so.

Do I want region wide war? No.

I would like to see a dramatically improved effort in drying up their recruiting base. If we bring their targets into a fairer relationship with the west then there are less receptive ears for their message.

What a load... please include killing Saddam and Gaddafi who as horrendous as they were they kept all these radicals in their place. The hypocrisy is off the charts... BARF

I think it's disgusting we can lower our flags out of respect for Whitney Houston, but not for serviceman killed on our homeland.

Are you really this dumb?

There was no presidential order to fly flags at half staff for Whitney Houston. None.

There shouldn't have been a presidential order to fly flags at half staff for this incident, yet the president HAS ordered it.

How could you be so incredibly wrong? Oh yeah, you're communicating with us from inside the neo-con echo chamber.

And you can raise and lower your flag for whatever reason you want.

I personally don't think flags should be lowered by presidential order unless the nation is truly in morning.

Sure, we're all saddened by this incident, but unless it has impacted your life in a tangible way please don't act like you're in mourning over it. We're all going about our business as usual.
