Rubio can throw lobs. Where does this notion that he can't come from?
Jazz don't really got a choice with Favors now. They got to keep his value up and playing PF helps with that as it shows his defensive versatility.

Rubio never playing is what's best for the Jazz. Gobert needs shooters around him. Having a PG that can't shoot won't work with Gobert. Rubio is worse at spacing the floor than Favors.
