Agree. Essentially giving up two lottery picks if Enes is included + another first to jump 3 spots.
We've been deriding Parker on this board for having weight concerns and playing questionable defense. Now some want to mortgage the farm for him? Talk about a knee-jerk reaction. I just can't believe how many people thought we'd really move up, when percentages were so strongly against that happening. But I guess I understand. It's like buying a lottery ticket when the jackpot gets to $100M+, fantasizing about what you'll do with all that money, and then being angry/depressed when your numbers don't come up - despite the long odds against it happening in the first place.
#5 will be a GREAT player, likely all-star potential. #23 will be a solid backup. Bring them in, let them compete against the incumbents for playing time and a starting position. Go after a good SF via free agency or a trade. Plenty of teams have dumped higher priced players in the past few years. But don't panic. Kanter, Burke and Burks are nowhere near decent trade value. At least wait until the deadline before throwing one away.
