Larry was an avid fast pitch softball player. He wore #9 when he played. I guess the pitching really messed up his elbow, disfigured it somehow and maybe thats why there is a JF user name: Larrys Elbow.
Thanks. Not only was he an "avid" softball pitcher, he was regarded as one of the best in the country. I should have realized he wore #9. It did mess up his elbow...chronic swelling of the bursa sac and then calcification of the fluid.
