Punch Bowl Re-Filler
Looking at the first three pre-season games, does anyone else agree with me that less emphasis should be placed on body bulding/sculpting and more on actual improvfement of basketball skills?
Yes, it appears Kanter has improved a lot due to his weight loss. But most of the others just seem the same - at least through the first 3 pre-season games. I'm disappointed with Favors and Hayward. They needed to really step up their games and it appears they're still the same inconsistent, very raw offemsive players they were last season. The Jazz should be finding off-season coaches to work with all these guys on BASKETBALL skills, not sending them to P3 to weight train and work on other drills. Any form of strength training will be effective. Heck, I could design wieght training regimens for these guys. Instead, they should be out shooting, shooting, shooting and doing more shooting. And when they're done with that, shoot some more. Learn basketball-related footwork, not how to jump up and down off stools.
