Several places come to mind. Usually places near a big city but not in the big city. Big cities I'd like being close to are L.A, Vegas, Miami, Denver and Seattle.

I really hate Miami, but my favorite place I've lived, by a MILE, was Islamorada (Florida Keys). Only about 40 minutes to Miami ..

I lived on the corner of the open ocean and a canal. Jumped in the water around sunset every night, grabbed 5 or 6 lobster (illegal, yes, I know) and grilled them up. While snorkeling for bugs I had a pole in the water and by the time I had the bugs caught I'd have a grouper or snapper on the line. Lived there for two years and it was the damn best ever. Gonna retire there (again) one day.

Well like I said I don't want to live in the city. Just close enough to it that I can head into "town" on any given night. I very much want the experince you had of the small town and the "freedom" that comes with it.

I'm willing to bet you have no where near the money PKM has. I'm willing to bet you don't have enough money to own a water front property in Florida.

Also to get back to the game, dude above is paranoid of me.
