I always say that, but I don't think I could say no to my dog. Dammit man.

I feel ya. I love my dog so so much but there is a point where I can't worsen my life really badly in order to make his life a little better. (Damn that sentence structure and wording is ugly)

I may have to get someone else to take the dog in when it's time. And i don't want to be around the family after, either. Especially when it's the chocolate one. We got him at 5 weeks old and I immediately started taking him to work. He's been side kick ever since. We've had him longer than any of my kids.

We had a yellow one when I was a kid. He wandered away one day when he was old. We'd finally given up hope of finding him when the neighbor pulled up with him in the car. The next day he tried to crap out the plastic rings that held a six pack together. We let my dad pull that out.

I have two cats. They aaiight but it's not even close to the same. I spend so much more time with the dog and take him everywhere (I love it when drive throughs at fast food places give him dog treats. Fiesta ole in Kearns is the best, they all know him lol).

I'm a dog person. Moved to a condo after my divorce. When I pick up my kids my ex-dog often comes out and plays with me. He seems so confused/disappointed when I leave. The condo has been nice for a variety of reasons, but I need to move to a place where I can have a dog again. Good for the soul.

I like dogs, but cats are just easier. My cat is indoor/outdoor and she can be away for like 3 days before she comes back to the house to chill for a day. If I go out of town, I just have to ask someone to make sure to put cat food outside twice a day. That's it.

Yeah, I get that. But cats don't love unconditionally. They want you on their terms. That's the opposite of a dog. You can be in the dumps, capable of giving nothing, and a dog will come up and let you know that in his eyes there is nothing better than you.

I have two cats because of my girls. Those cats would be gone in a heartbeat if not for my daughters.
