Ok, so you're wondering why I post this, since it's only mentioned and discussed about 1,000,000 times how we have trouble with L.A.s length, but here's the rub:
The <they> in the quote was referring to the Blazers, and the book (which btw is a good read so far), was written in 1998. It's amazing how the cast of characters 12 yrs later is different and yet, the Jazz' biggest problem (no pun intended) is the same.
