Aaron Gordon, a No. 5 Pick?

More exaggeration and hyperbole. Big surprise.

Who is the right player? Want to know so we can bookmark this thread. I want to know who the best available player at 5 is so we can see if you were right.

I would pick Marcus Smart over Aaron Gordon but I don't love Marcus Smart. And I really don't love Julius Randle, but I'd pick him over Aaron Gordon as well. I have Aaron Gordon in the tier of Dario Saric and Doug McDermott (players that could be pretty damn good, or could be easily be mere rotation players because of significant limitations).

If the Jazz draft him, I'll shut up and hope for the best.

The thing with Aaron Gordon I find funny is, either people really love him or they really hate him, there is no in between.

And there's nothing wrong with any of this, just as there's nothing wrong with anybody thinking differently.

You asked questions, people answered them, and you behaved like a jackass. Nobody knows how good any of these players will be, but when you ask questions and people do their best to answer them there's no reason to treat them like **** for doing so. You don't have to accept their answers, but don't patronize them for attempting to provide you with some.

He's slowly growing on me, but to be honest I would be fine with any of the 4 players in our range. It's going to be funny when one of the top 4 falls or we just trade out. Then all of this will have been for nothing :P

Like almost all NBA-level talent, it's all about context. At 10, and/or for a team that doesn't need a significant offensive cog, he's probably a steal. But that's not at all where the Jazz sit.

I'm with NUMB in thinking that his lack of skills make him a bit of a tweener offensively. Defensively he's good at the 3
