Aaron Gordon SL - Holy...

Too early to make a conclusion, however, I'm very, very glad Exum slipped. We have a potential superstar and they have a potential very good player.

You need like 5 years to be able to tell you that

Guarantee it's not going to take Exum 5 years to be an impact player.
I LOVED that crossover, spin move against the Milwaukee team that made the defender fall down. There are going to be a few defenders that think, "oh ***, Exum has the ball" once he gets more experience. Actually, I take that back...as a backup to start the season, I think he'll have that effect on opposing subs.

No, it won't. I agree.

But it takes a sample size of at least a couple of seasons to determine whether or not a top 5 pick will be a scrub as their best case scenario

His numbers are similar to Iggy's and Ariza's and they were two years older than him at that stage. I could see him having an Iggy type career--athletic, good defender, highlight reel dunks, not much of a jump shot, but still a borderline all star--and that is not so bad at all.

Iguodala is not an accurate comp for him at all. Iggy is/was a much better shooter and actually needed to be guarded on the perimeter. Gordon can potentially have a really solid career, but unless he drastically improves his shot he won't be a wing-player like Iggy. He's going to end up like Kidd-Gilchrist if he tries to play SF.

If he can't improve that shot he needs to hit the weight room and model his game after Blake Griffin, or maybe AK47.

Gordon's shot from the field has changed, for the better. He's not making them yet, but it looks better. Most of the misses were soft off of the front of the rim. Aside from his sir all and a few right side clanks, they were generally online and soft the remainder of the time.

He just change his shot earlier this summer, it's going to take time. But if that jumper starts to fall, wow...

From the eye test, I love exum. But his FT numbers and shooting percentages are very similar to Gordon.

WAY too early for either player. Orlando got who they wanted, Jazz got who they wanted. For Jazz fans, win-win !

Don't get me wrong, I am still VERY happy that we got Exum. I was dancing at the ESA when it happened. Some of you fools wanted Vonleh!!!

Gordon will be better than Vonleh. He won't be a bust.

TJ warren with 29pts. 22pts few days ago. some dudes can just score. but it's all about projecting player. TJ warren looks like he is basically a finished product. he can improve, but there aren't much room to grow. guys like gordon have serious room to grow. that's why mcbucket isn't your #1 pick. that's why gary harris isn't top 5. that's why guys like exum can be top 5 pick.

Haha ok.. Vonleh is showing just about every post move in the book so far in SL. Gordon didnt look like he improved at-all since the season ended. We shall see.
