With this draft day scenario, who would you want the Jazz to take?

It seems Gordon competitive fire is a more big bonus, his Arizona team made deep tournament run and had a very good regular season record because Gordon is a total team player and helps do all the little things to win a basketball game even if he is the most talented on his team, Gordon is more about team and getting W's, and doing whatever it takes to do so. I don't want some player like Smart, who is a head case and seems more about himself and not the team, plus undersized for the position we would want to play him in, we don't need another Millsap, too small, inches matter in this game, I see all the Dwyane Wade comparisons, Wade measured out to be 6'4" predraft, Smart 6'2", no thanks, I could care less how much they hustle. Being too short by two inches is a BIG deal in the NBA, just think if Millsap was 2 inches taller, he would be starting power forward material from day one in this league and be worth more money and worth more to a franchise.

I thought Smart was taller than that. If he's just 6'2" then no thanks, I'll pass. It's pretty easy to find undersized 2 guards.

Marcus and Deron are about the same height, Deron at 6'2"3/4 in shoes and Marcus at 6'3" in shoes and if Marcus is suppose to be the next Dwyane then he better grown another two inches because Dwyane measured out at 6'5"! Marcus isn't going to be a starting shooting guard in the NBA, if he wants to start in the NBA it's at point guard, and we have a pretty darn good one that we moved up in last draft to get in Trey.

No Deron is 6'2 3/4 in shoes and Smart is 6'3 1/4 in shoes, hence why I said half an inch taller.

Wouldn't' say he is too short to be a starting SG. It isn't ideal size, but he will manage.

How many really good SG's are in the league right now that can take advantage of height mismatches anyway? Plus, posting up Smart won't be easy because of his strength.

Yes, every shooting guard that is 6'5" or taller will take advantage and that's a majority of the league, we saw how Millsap and Boozer faired against length, they may have put up nice numbers but when it came down to winning in the playoffs, we got killed. Plus, if Marcus could shoot that would help make up for his lack of length and he can't even do that. Defense wins championships, teams will just shoot over the top of him and force Marcus to shoot outside shots. Which is why you draft Aaron, work on his shot and he has the rest of the intangibles to be a very special player in this league and worth the 5th pick.

Dragic and Bledsoe seem to do just fine in Phoenix. Dragic is 6'3 and Bledsoe is 6'1.
