Look bro we're not getting a super-duper-star with this pick, so I'm not what sure you expect. Sorry Gordon's not Lebron ****ing James. He's got a lot going for him. He's athletic as anyone and his defense is top notch. Quit it with these pointless Jeremy Evans comparisons.. Gordon weighs 30 pounds more than him and he's 7 years younger. You look at his physic and you don't see a skinny "no hope" Jeremy Evan frame. Kawhi Leonard shot 29% from 3 in college. Gordon shot 35%. FTs can improve. And Hayward has played the two for the last 3 ****ing years. Christ.

We need a franchise player. Not another nice piece. So yay. Draft Gordon. But we really need to tank and finally get ourselves a franchise player next draft.
 
Thriller, Hayward is a 2, A. Gordon would be our 3. Burks 6th man. Or burks and hayward can duke it out in front of the new HC

You dodged it in the other thread, but who is the franchise player in 2015!? Okafor's comp (projected #1) is Derrick Favors on most mock sites. Pretty sure we have Favors already.
 
Something I brought up a few weeks ago was whether Gordon could make a Westbrook like jump (pun intended).

Before the lottery today Bill Simmons said he thinks Gordon could be a Westbrook-esque pick, too.

A. Gordon has superstar potential if he ever learns to shoot. So many intangibles. He is not like anyone we have, and his shot isn't broken beyond repair. My theory is he is young and it will come.
