MKG's biggest asset is his potentially "good" leadership, defense, will to win, help-out-the-team-at-all cost traits.

If you had the option, would you take MKG or Paul Millsap? Isn't Millsap MKG's ceiling? Millsap is a good teammate. Averages 18 and 10. League leader in steals. Is clutch at the end of games. Wouldn't every smart GM take Millsap's knowns versus potential?

Same with Robinson vs Millsap. Robinson is compared to David West. I think I would take Millsap over West.

I guess my point is this: I wouldn't be surprised is some team decided to trade a top 10 pick for Millsap and I don't know if there is anyone I would trade Millsap for, other than Davis.

You are truly tireless. If MKG doesn't reach the potential that he's darfted .. will give you all the kudos, cool?

What more can you say that you have said? Start three more threads maybe? Hi-jack a couple others. I'm not even being a homer here .. just find it odd that with the Jazz having no 1st round pick, that most every one of your posts have to do with bashing a consensus 2 - 7. Did he father your baby or something?

Considering they don't play the same position or have remotely the same skillset besides having a hardworking attitude I think it's pretty asinine to say that Millsap is MKG's ceiling...

PKM - it is a serious question. What do you, big, bad, NBA insider, hear all your expert friends saying MKG's ceiling is?

15-20 pts a night? Millsap is already there.

6-8 Rebs a night? Millsap is already better.

A block a night? Check.

League leader in steals? Millsap.

What exactly is MKG or Robinson projected to do better?

And yes, if MKG turns out to be great, I'll give him props and eat crow, just like I said I would when Brewer becomes a great player. I was ran from the board by blowhards like you when I ripped on Brewer...we will see on MKG. Even NBA tv just said having MKG will be 4 on 5 on offense. You can't win that way, and as a GM, you can't keep your job with players like that.

Instead of getting mad, prove me wrong.
 
I guess my other point is do the Jazz really want to trade Millsap. He is a very, very, very good player.
 
MKG is a good defender and plays SF. How is this a comparison?!??!

Hakeem Olajuwon averaged more rebounds and blocks so he is better than Michael Jordan.

See how this doesn't work?

You forgot defense. You forgot being a TRUE leader.

Show me one post that I am pimping MKG as an all-star or anything, there are none. I just find your hate ridiculous and poorly formed. I have NEVER compared MKG to Sap .. it's just dumb .. sorry if it seems I called you dumb, not intentional.
 
Defense and a TRUE leader.

How many games did Millsap win for us with big rebounds and clutch shots? To say Millsap isn't a TRUE leader is silly. Also, I would counter that it is very easy to be a TRUE leader when you are playing with 4 other guys that are NBA guys when most teams don't have one.

Millsap's defense is stellar. He is a league leader in steals.

My point is that everyone is talking about how MKG is a top 5 pick, Millsap isn't worth a top 5 pick, when you compare production, Millsap is a very, very productive player, and will most likely be a more productive player than MKG ever will. Millsap is worth a top 5 pick.

If you are the GM Charlotte, or Cleveland, or Sacramento or any other top 10 drafting team (other than NO at #1), show me a player that is a safer bet than Millsap in picks 2-9.

All this draft talk is fun, but if KOC decides that he wants to keep Millsap over an 18 year old with big question marks, I am ok with that. Millsap is too good of a player to just toss aside on a hope that a child will pan out.

My advice is that you should not run. Everyone gets hated on this board unless you are a a kiss *** like hotttnickks or orangello. Just have fun with it

EVERY damn BODY agrees Sap is great and Al sux. How did you get to a defending Sap position from a tearing down MKG beginning?

By the way, steals is NO indicator of great defense. If I have to explain that, forget it. This is not a sap vs. mkg thing for me.

He will never be anywhere as good as Pippen because he can't shoot. He may be half the player Pippen was (ie, have his defensive skills), but in today's NBA, with the new rule changes as far as hand checking goes, Pippen could never be Pippen.
