My big Sap vs MKG thing is everyone says that MKG is a top 5 pick, but Millsap isn't worth a top 5 pick, and that isn't true. Other than #1, it sounds like everyone is hoping that picks 2-12 will turn out to be as productive as Millsap (regardless of position), but yet they say Millsap, who is proven, isn't worth a pick 2-12, when those player's ceilings are Millsap-esque.

Shisters. I stand corrected. Pair MKG with Jordan, and you have Pippen.

That being said, when Pippen was the "man", he did shoot 38% from 3. Do you think MKG's funky Brewer shot could every approach those type of numbers? If I am a GM picking in the top 5, I am not putting my job on that line.

I get that, but I unintentionally got sucked into the comparison.

Millsap is not 3. We are loaded up front. So if a 3 who can round out our roster is available you have to jump on it. Mkg my never be as good as millsap, but he would be more valuable from a usage perspective.

I have never said he is a three. I have always said he is NOT a three, but is forced there because Corbin thinks he has to play Al 35 mins a night. Millsap is a four.

I was right with Brewer, I'll be right with this. If it makes you guys feel any better, this will be my last MKG post until after the next basketball season. I think I got my points across, whether you agree with them or not.

Additonally, MKG is light years better than Brewer defensively. He's that good. He could be the best wing defender who ever lived when all is said and done. Yes, that good. And he can drive (not great but solidly) and finish at the rim (great) on his own--something Brewer only wished he could do.
 
Brewer is still not a fair comparison because his broken elbow ensured that physically he could not shoot the ball with good form. There's no reason MKG can't improve as time goes on.
