You know how some scientist are calling it the God gene cause those that have high expression of the gene tend to be more spiritual or have more spiritual experiences, cause of the number of receptors translating good feelings!!

I have not read these recent findings. I cancelled my subscription to Weekly Reader a couple months ago.

So the big question is, does this gene prove there is no God and that Homo sapiens evolved into spiritual animals or that there is a God and he created this gene in us so we could communicate with him?

No! I was trying to take a stand and defend my thread from politics and religious debates! My efforts were thwarted by a more resilient man!
 
My bad I wasn't really trying to do a religious debate more of a scientific one, but hey at least we got to page 2 on your thread!!
