These Kings players are on the trade block: Darren Collison, Arron Afflalo, Kosta Koufos and Ben McLemore. Is there anyone of interest here? The Kings are looking to go full on tank mode the rest of the year.
 
I like collison better than mack or neto but have been encouraged by exum of late and want him to continue to develop.
 
I'd offer a 2nd rounder (or two) for McLemore. Sacramento would probably say no but it's worth a try. We need more tattoos.
 
Jazz would be better off just signing the D-league player I made the thread about, Vander Blue. Instead of giving up any assets for McLemore.
 
We have too many 2nd rounders. We can stash a few foreign players but we have 4 2nd rounders in this draft (and two firsts) and so we have more picks than we can deal with, even if we sign the guys to Paige-like contracts and play them in the D-League.

Though who knows - maybe DL will kick the can down the road and trade at least one of our picks for future draft picks. I believe we don't have any additional picks in 2018.

They like to sell picks for extra $$$. Probably the same drill this year. I think they got 2.5MM out of the Nets in exchange for the rights to Whitehead last year.

The Whitehead deal was amazing, especially since we still landed Bolomboy. I don't think we paid the Nuggets much more than that for the Gobert pick. And though Whitehead has chucker-like stats he's gotten a lot of playing-time for Brooklyn. He's shown he can distribute the ball pretty well though. Glad the trade worked out for both teams.

Need to be careful about acquiring expensive backups. This draft is deep and could restock the bench at a very cheap price. IINM, rosters also go up to 17, so there will be multiple roster spots to fill. As mentioned, though, expect DL to trade or sell a couple of picks.

If they can bridge the gap to the 2020 draft that ones gonna be loaded and real deep too. I'm with you though on stocking the bench with draftpicks.
