Jazz have to if they re-sign Hayward and Hill and then Hood. And they'll need to find a starting PF if the answer is not Favors. DL probably wants to hang on to Exum and perhaps Lyles. So need to get production from drafted players in the $1-$2m range. Utah won't have room under the tax to bring in guys like JJ and Diaw.

I agree. This may surprise a lot of folks but my first choice would be Kosta Koufus. I really can't even believe he's on the block if it's true as he's definitely one of the best back up centers in the league IMO. With Favors' knees and Withey's lack of chutzpah, it just seems like a no-brainer to me. I've honestly never seen a center get blocked or stripped more than Withey, probably a good reason why even Diaw takes his minutes.

Considering how inconsistent the PF play is on this team, and the lack of a respectable PF/C when Favors is hurt/playing like ****, I think Koufos could be perfect if the price is cheap enough.

The Whitehead deal was amazing, especially since we still landed Bolomboy. I don't think we paid the Nuggets much more than that for the Gobert pick. And though Whitehead has chucker-like stats he's gotten a lot of playing-time for Brooklyn. He's shown he can distribute the ball pretty well though. Glad the trade worked out for both teams.

Makes it more likely that teams will keep buying. I'd like to see some draft and stash guys this year or strictly D-league players drafted though.
