Would they take ether Howard, Cj, or Harris for beaubois. I would want the jazz to play him both at sg and pg, more at sg. He gives us something we need in someone who could shoot, and be a threat offensively on the wing.

What do you think.

Does it say that the most likely reason they are trying to move him is because he has multiple years left on his deal and Dallas is trying to dump everyone not named Dirk who is signed for more than one year? So maybe Beubois for Howard, but I doubt they are interested in anything else.

CJ, Howard, Tinsley, Carroll and I believe Evans (can't remember his options) are all expiring after this season. Harris, Jefferson, Watson and I believe Millsap all expire next season.

Why wouldn't he fit other then his defense?
Never said he would or wouldn't, I don't pretend to know enough about his offensive game, although he seems to be a pretty good shooter, passer and penetrater in the games against the Jazz. Unfortunately that isn't a very high measuring stick.

Misunderstood ya my bad. According to the rumor on hoopshype Dallas is shopping him because they thought he could be the next Parker, but hasn't mastered the move from sg to pg. Him and Burks I think would make a great one two punch at sg, with Hayward running the offense at sf for small stretches in a game.

He's like a poor-man's Rondo but I'm not sure he'll ever remotely be the distributor Rondo is...

How about on March 1st, we send them Josh Howard & a conditional 1st ('14 lottery protected if they dont get DWill or it turns into a 2nd-rounder if they DO land DWill)!?!

Add Bell to that group.

I won't be surprised if we get just because it's classic Jazz. Get the guy who destroys you, but does sub-par the rest of his games.

I'm enamored with Beaubios, I think he's one of the best young players in the league that hasn't had a chance to play. Dallas is really going to regret moving him, just because he couldn't be the eventual replacement for Jason Kidd. Here's his numbers in just 18 minutes a game, 7.3 pts, 2.8 rebs, 2.5 asts, 1.1 TOs, 0.9 blk(!), 1.0 stl. He's shoots about 41% from the field & 32% from 3, which could be a lot better, BUT, he shoots 86% from the line. His per is 17.05, 9th highest in the NBA at shooting guard. He also plays great man defense but lacks a little height at 6'2". Personally, I would give up a very solid player for him, I think he could REALLY help us in the backcourt, but I think Burks is a very similar player, though Burks is bigger, stronger and younger. Whoever gets him and doesn't force him to play as a pass first PG is going to be very happy. Have no idea why he's had 7 straight DNPs...that's crazy.

Beaubois is really talented and plays the position that is the biggest question mark going forward. When he killed us, he wasn't just hitting lucky shots or diving into the rim and getting lucky, he made a lot of smart plays.

If it doesn't involve The 4, the GS pick, or Millsap, then yes, please. Anything else is on the table, and that's understanding that Beaubois isn't a sure thing.
