Well did an idiot measure him at the combine? Is it the same idiot that measured Mitchell at 6-3?

Only explanation is maybe he grew a couple inches since the combine?
 
There's actually data on this:

Boozer was listed as 1/4" taller without shoes during his combine measurement than Ace. Given that Ace was measured less than 2 months ago, I'm guessing his height has not changed.

As someone who's growing older, I know that losing height over time is a real thing. To me, that's the likeliest answer (if we assume that mistakes were not made in measurements, and that the other picture out there, which seems to show Ace even taller in relation to Boozer, isn't "lying" to us).
 
6’9.5” in shoes maybe. Dude was measured and may be growing a little still but we have the data on Ace.
 
He could still grow a bit. But he is long and tall and athletic and that's enough for me.

What is far more important is if he can shed the influencers in his corner and can get his head screwed on straight. At times I wonder if his head is about 7000' tall which doesn't help block shots or shoot better. If he can shrink in that dept and find the balance between humility and swag then I think him being 6'8.75 or 6'10 is a nothing burger.
