He says in a statement that at 34, ''the time has come to think about ending my career at the professional level'' and that he wants to do that at CSKA

It also said his contract is signed until the end of this season. So, I guess that's it for AK 47.

the excitment for AK in 2004 reminds me of the excitement we have for Gobert today. I enjoyed watching him as much as anyone in the league back then -the AK l loved to watch retired many years ago.

Yep. Remember when Larry H. said he wasn't a max player now, but would be? That was the day he signed his big deal. After that he stopped improving and just coasted on his athletic ability. That fades quickly with age and injuries. I doubt Rudy is going to do the same. He was fire AK never had.
