AK47 was the last current player connection to Stockton & Malone era.

Its kind of sad to see AK go because he was the last player connection to the Stockton and Malone era. Especially now that Jerry and Phil are gone, and of course Larry Miller it makes it even tougher.

So as much its not sad to see AK go for "basketball reasons" Its sad because it really does close up that time peroid.

Of course some of the coaching staff and management still have connections with that era.

But there are now no current Jazz players that played with them. Crazy.

I think you are forgetting about a certain Mr. Head Coach Corbin. How about KOC? Scotty?

Corbin didn't come until 2004. I was mostly referring to players and coaches but yes KOC would be the only "continuous" connection. And of course I mentioned Hornycek.

Are you seriously this dumb? You really should look up Corbin's NBA history. His nickname was The Milkman by the way.

Are you that dumb? I know he played with them you idiot but he didn't COME BACK to the Jazz until 2004 to coach.

Plus the point of this thread was that there will never be a PLAYER on the Jazz that will have played with Stock and Malone.

If Im not mistaken our only connection associated with the team is assistant coach Jeff Hornaceck.

I think you're making it up as you go. You already qualified your intention by making the attached statement. You god sir were, and as always, are mistaken.

You should have been more clear then. "AK47 was the last connection to Stockton & Malone era" says nothing like what you say you intended.

Ok sorry I should have said last 'PLAYER CONNECTION" but I figured I didn't have to state the obvious.

Im just stating that there are now no current Jazz players that played with Stock and Malone.

Its not rocket science.

I was under the impression Hornacek had been working for the Jazz as a shooting coach since he retired. But I have no idea if that's accurate.

Pfft, who gives a hell

Bring on the Burks, Favors, Hayward, and Kanter era. Cant spend our lives living in the past, lets build onto the future.
