i'm surprised to hear that locke ever said anything negative about a jazz player. when he's not busy selling mini ticket packages, he's talking about what a genius tyrone corbin and how uncommonly talented every jazz player is.
that said, i do think this comes down to the fact that for favors to realize his potential, the jazz need to declare a direction sooner rather than later: favors & millsap or jefferson & favors. as much as it pains me to say it, i agree with locke; i don't think al makes the jazz a contender. paul probably doesn't either, but his games complements derrick's a little better, and he does several things well that al doesn't.
I definitely think it should be the Favors, Millsap direction.
Millsap has proven he is a scorer..... and he shoots a great percentage from the field, unlike Jefferson sometimes.
Not to mention they're both defensive minded, and can rebound well.
Sap can also play the 3 position.
I would really love for the KOC to trade Big Al for some decent wing players that can shoot.
You can then solve how thin our front line will be by signing a decent free agent for the bench... like Pryzbilla maybe?
