Alec Burks is better than Kobe Bryant

Burks is averaging more pts, assists, rebounds, steals, minutes, etc than kobe so far this year
 
The only person who can stop Alec Burks is Ty Corbin.

But can Ty Corbin stop Kobe Bryant?----No.

Therefore Kobe is better.
 
let's not get carried away, Burks has good athleticism and an ok shot, but his midrange game isn't so hot. Whenever Kobe throws up a shot, I just count it on the scoreboard in my head and I'm amazed when he misses. You don't need a healthy acheles tendon to do that. Understand, I think the guy is an arrogant jerk and should be in jail right now, but as a player, pre injury he was still near the top. Burks is still finding it hard guaranteeing playing time on a lottery team.
 
The only thing on this board I have more affection for than Zulu's love of Burks is Dalamon's love of Burke, Sloanfeld's love of Boozer, and [Huge]'s persistent antagonizing of the comfortably fanatical. These are the anTy groupthink posters who keep the board interesting.

The rest of the lot? Well, you can be as boring as making love to a pumpkin.

Kobe is a career 45% percent shooter. That's less than half of his shots. Don't be so amazed.

Kobe scores 45 % because he shoots the vast majority of the shots on his team against double teams being the main focus of the opposing teams defense. Alec shoots 42 % while not being scouted by the other team because he hasn't proven anything against the backup players on the other team. Kobe is better. He's a jerk, but he's better.
