He had a costly mistake but I think the reason we are reluctant to blame him... and see if you can follow me here... was because he was/is the per game leader in scoring per game. See if you are still following me here, but he also did that on insane efficiency.

Mike was good in the playoffs... blame Royce or Joe if you want... I ain't going to blame Mike or DM though.
You can blame everyone the appropriate amount.

I prefer to think of it as a credit/blame balance sheet. Both Mike and DM were clearly positive.

Royce was the biggest disappointment. Joe struggles to fit in the starting lineup we ran out and was rough defensively early in the series... thought he got better as the series went on. JC was uneven, which is what I expect from him. Would have liked to see better from Rudy but we gave him a basically impossible task.

Royce should shoulder most of the blame. 1. He is the wing defensive stopper. Allegedly anyways. He got murdered to death. 2. He **** the bed in HUGE moments. It's not the fact he didn't score. It's the fact he pissed his pants, then took 3 steps, instead of shooting a wide wide wide open 3. If it doesn't go in whatever. But you can not travel when you are unguarded. 3. Royce just sucks.

His on/off splits were so bad in the series... -21. Obviously we had him matched up with Murray most of the time. He was bad, but he's still a quality player. He's a good defender but he's not great against guys like Murray. Better against the bigger wing types.

Murray is proving to be a tough cover for everyone.

K, so, the “appropriate amount” to me sounds like the NET, and in the NET, Mitchell gets no blame. Especially since he played a good regular season sufficient to get us to the playoffs in the first place which is infinitely more than we can say about Conley.

To an extent, but I do believe Mitchell does receive substantial critique for the backcourt violation in Game 1, the 4th quarter performance in Game 7, and just his overall lack of commitment to D the entire season and in the series.

You're gonna question Don's game 7 performance but praise Conley's playoffs.

You are such a hypocrite loser.

Without Don going nuclear in the 3rd, we get embarassed in game 7. Why? Because Conley was embarrassing in game 7. He was adjusted enough to his new surroundings for a great game 3 and 4, but when we needed him, he let us down. Don had to carry Conley's luggage on offense and defense. Yet you want to place blame on Don.

Seriously Cy, shut the **** up.

You're not objective; you are a habitual liar. You attack people on this forum all the time and you lie by changing the narrative. You pick players you bash and others you support. Like in this debate: You constantly put the blame on Don while also saying Conley had a great series (really he just had a couple good games and let us down in 3 straight losses). Don needed Conley to step up and it didn't happen.

You keep calling me a racist. Used to upset me, but I'm starting to realize you are just a simple minded person with built up personal issues that finds some satisfaction in being ugly. You constantly name call and do your best to demean people on this forum. Your own personal demons cause you to lash out.

I would say I feel sorry for you when really I feel sorry for those who have their time wasted by you. I truly hope you can find a way to navigate life without being a confrontational lightening rod of negativity.

Bruh I dont attack anyone on this site other than the trolls who are ra**st (like Jazzyfresh) and people who constantly try to argue with me when I'm clearly right.

The fact that you tried to act like Conley had a bad series by posting incredible BPM numbers is hilarious.

You said he had a great series because of skewed stats (8+BPM average).

I said he had a couple good games ehich boosted that number but sucked when we needed him to step up.

You're wrong. Its okay. Lets move on.
