That’s not what I’m asking, Joe.

Hantlers is being a WAY more disrespectful, deconstructive poster than me— and all I’m seeing is you pointing your finger at me. I see nothing from you telling him to switch his act up. I am now repeating this for the third time. I’ve made myself intensely clear— I have ppl in my life who I’m acquianted with who are even more right wing than you, and they still love me. I’ll provide respect, but only when it’s deserved and reciprocated. This ******** on “you didn’t USED to be like this!” while other posters go on to say worse things? That doesn’t jive with me. And I don’t give a **** if that makes me more abrasive than whatever I used to be.

Yes Dala has gotten much more aggressive and I don’t really agree with his justification either. But that’s irrelevant really.

But let’s be honest with what he’s saying. It’s not about agreement. It’s about eye for an eye. He is saying he will treat you how you treat him.

It’s a Utah-based forum, I get it. But if y’all aren’t being fair then none of you deserve any engagement for me. End of discussion.

"It doesn't have to be from a chicken" kind of entails that the egg came first to have the chicken. So yeah.

There's kind of a lot going on there though.

Okay, my bad. I misunderstood you. I agree that people should treat others with respect, regardless of their political views... and I have obviously slipped in that regard toward you. Sorry.

Yeah, here is how I see it...

A thing that is genetically 99% a chicken mates with something that is 99.5% a chicken, not really a chicken, but close. The resultant embryo in the egg that thing lays mutates just enough to get it to 100% a chicken. When it hatches, then it is a chicken. Hence, the egg had to be laid that contains a chicken for us to have a chicken, so the egg came first. The thing that laid the egg was "almost" a chicken, but not quite. If the egg gets made into an omelet then we still don't have a chicken, we have a delicious omelet. Once that egg hatches, THEN we have the first chicken. So the egg had to come first.

Another way to look at it is, if the chicken came first, where did the chicken come from? Naturally it had to come from an egg of some sort, so again, the egg came first. That egg, again, did not necessarily have to come from a chicken, but rather an "almost" chicken.

Unless it was some sort of cyborg chicken born in the depths of a dying star, sent to destroy us all. Then the chicken came first. And if it actually lays an egg, god help us all!
