Why was that thread closed? Do we have confirmation that James Jazz is an alt? If not that was pretty rude to shut him down like that.
 
Maybe someone can verify with the Jazz and re-open his thread.
 
Would kind of suck if an official representative of the team is trying to reach out and be part of this community and we shut the door in their face.

Seems like it would be pretty easy to verify his account. Stoked probably just shut it down right away without doing so. That mod work.
 
I think its way cool if the Jazz have really reached out. It seems like in the past the MO has been to demean forums and media outlets that weren't official Jazz. I also think it would be a smart thing for them to do if done correctly.

I also think they should reach out to management/Colton, or at least PM a mod first to explain intentions etc. Furthermore, all other forums I frequent require a vendor fee if somebody is soliciting business. I think that would be appropriate and courtesy of the Jazz to offer to the site prior to posting a solicitation.
 
Another thread goes down without an explanation. Nothing strange.

I've had a couple friends who had that same job. Its basically a commission sales job. Its not the "Jazz" reaching out, its this guy trying to get ticket sales and a commission. If it were the "Jazz" he wouldn't have it go to that URL .

Well, give him credit for his initiative. He's trying to get a bunch of suckers to pay to see a losing team whose owners have refused to spend any significant cash to upgrade over the past several years. Oh sorry, I forgot that $5M/per 2yr deal for Booker.

I wouldn't spend a dime until DL shows me the Jazz ownership/management are serious about making and advancing in the playoffs. Reaching the salary floor by signing guys like Neto, Pleiss, Ingles, etc. is NOT being serious about winning, I think DL is secretly hoping Utah misses the playoffs so he can get another lottery pick in the 10-12 range.
 
Calm down people. I closed the thread.

I also reported it to the other mods to bring it to their attention so another mod with more time and ability can verify it. If this is legit then that's cool.

But we have always erred on the side of caution with threads trying to sell stuff and linking ot other sites.

Some of you even report said threads yourselves.

This is buried in his post. I'm not really interested in this being on the site. If it is, please make it easy to ignore.

I think it would be foolish quite frankly. Any relationship with the actual team could be great going forward for this website and its members.

I cant wait for this one to not be closed and I will go in there and YELL to James he is scammer 3rdparty brooker. I see this all the time with Gypsy in my country!!!
