Malone is one of the greatest players of all time, and he was a winner. Maravich was a good player, more style than substance, and ultimately didnt lead his teams anywhere. Star power makes a huge difference, just look at how LeBron almost beat an all time great team with a bunch of scrubs.

Watching Tag play, he wasn't a great player but he always elevated the defense, I remember always being relieved when he'd come back in because I just knew we'd get more stops. Think he's underrated as a jazz player. Sometimes he'd sleep walk through stretches of the regular season but he was pretty money in the playoffs. Was always more focused the bigger the game was
