Team White Chocolate:

PG - Pete Maravich / Howard Eisley
SG - Darrell Griffith / John Starks
SF - Donyell Marshall / Calbert Cheaney
PF - Truck Robinson / Walt Bellamy
C - Antoine Carr / Olden Polynice

Team Hekate:

PG - Jim McElroy / Gail Goodrich
SG - Kyle Korver / Kelly Tripucka
SF - Adrian Dantley / Allan Bristow
PF - Tom Chambers / Scott Padgett
C - Mark Eaton / Ben Poquette

The back-courts are the matchups that stand out the most to me.

Maravich and Griffith would have a field day against McElroy and Korver.

That advantage alone should allow me to win this matchup.

And McElroy and Goodrich wouldn't and I still have the best defensive player in the game defending the rim.

Hekate wins 3 of 5 starting positions. Has depth to back it up. Win for Hekate.

By what logic?

Maravich is better than McElroy.
Griffith is better than Korver.
Dantley is better than Marshall.
Robinson is better than Chambers.
Eaton is better than Carr.

I win 3-2 in terms of starting five. Not sure how you can see it any other way.

You don't have anyone that can come and change things. I have Goodrich.

And you would do well to match-up according to roles. Dantley is better than Griffith.

Really Dantley is very underrated. I was surprised when Maravich was taken earlier than Dantley. He was up theee with the best scorers in his prime and even had a less usage percentage than some of them.

Can't believe I lost this.

I guess it's not as cut and dry as everyone thought it would be.

Thee was supposed to breeze through this and nobody else had a good team.

8-7 and 6-6 were the final four voting, pretty damn even if you ask me.

Just want to shout out to Hekate. Got very creative with his draft. Think I remember him saying he just missed on a couple players and rebounded nicely. He probably advances to the final if his players were more well known.

Good job on the draft

I was about to vote for Hekate, but it look like the poll closed. Dang.
